It's time to winterize

You should winterize their machine so that any trapped water in the pump and coil is removed before it expands when it freezes and causes damage.

Also remember to winterize your hoses, gun jets, wands and any other accessories that may have water trapped inside.  All you need to get your equipment ready for winter is a container of antifreeze or wiper fluid.

Step 1. Disconnect the water supply to your Hotsy and connect the antifreeze solution container.

Step 2. Full the container with your solution of choice.

Step 3. Turn on your Hotsy to start the flow of solution. Continue this until you see the solution appear from your trigger gun.

Step 4. Spray the solution back into the container and cycle the trigger a few times, guaranteeing it gets through all the parts of your equipment.

Step 5. Turn off your machine and solution supply.

Bonus. If your unit has a flow tank, fill the tank directly with the solution and follow the same process as outlined above.

If you don’t feel like you can winterize your unit yourself, give us a call at 800-375-WASH and we can send a service technician out to do it for you.
